The next day after the CNY celebration is the FASA Award Night.. It was for the closing ceremony of the FASA Sports event. The theme for the night was Italian Masquerade and everyone was told to wear a mask. There were several awards given out. For this event, I was one of the committee member in charge of the hall setup. So here are some pictures from that night..

The opening performance was a dance.. Overall the event was a fun event and everyone had fun. It was quite tiring to furnish the hall according to the theme set which is Italian Masquerade but it was quite satisfying. We had to really work together to finish up our job as it was quite last minute as we only managed to decorate the hall after a talk in the morning. So it was a real relief when we manage to get it done. Everyone dressed splendidly and beautifully. It was a night to remember..

There are a couple of events that happened before the Chinese New Year break so let's start with... FASA Sports which occurred on the 1st of January!

Ok.. Firstly, FASA Sports is an event where all the courses in FASA will participate in various sports activities. The main intention is for interactions between the courses and I totally agree that it did. I managed to get to know more people especially seniors. It was a great experience. I entered the volleyball and scrabble competition and unfortunately we lost for the volleyball competition. Technically we didn't have much practice and nearly all of us have no experience in volleyball competition. Well we've just got to work harder next time!! ^^

Fortunately, we won for the scrabble competition! YAY!! *jumps and cheers* It's really a surprise but at least we manage to help contribute some marks for the course. The guys did the best in DOTA. They won all the courses! Woohoo!! :)
